Parents!  Summer is here and pool season is in full swing.  While swimming is a great way to beat the heat, our policy is that at no time will sitters allow children to swim unless the parent is home and supervising them in the pool.  Even though some of our sitters are certified lifeguards, we kindly ask that you respect this policy as it is intended to ensure the upmost safety of your children.

Good news!  Now you can view all of your sessions, regardless of the status, from the “my sessions” tab within you profile.  Based on your feedback, we’ve added this feature to allow you to confirm the details of a job you’ve just posted, see whether our sitters have accepted a job, or review past jobs and provide feedback.

Below are the three different types of status you’ll see and how you can use them:

·        Pending – jobs that have just been posted, but not yet accepted by any sitters.  This allows you to review jobs you’ve just posted and confirm that the date and time requested is accurate.

·        Accepted – these are jobs where one or more sitters have accepted.  These jobs can be booked via the accepted jobs tab in your profile.

·        Booked – these are jobs (both future and past) where a sitter has been confirmed.  You can use this feature to (a) review the time, sitter and other details of an upcoming session or (b) reference and/or provide feedback on sitters used in the past.
